Today's Sinfest made me really sad. Poor Slick. He doesn't fail at love, although if he hadn't delayed in all his talk, he might have gotten that kiss. It would have changed the dynamic of the strip a lot, though. Alas.

Here's the beginning of the Bible in LOL. Why can't the Bible really be written like this?

But the whole series is about Harry! Snape doesn't get enough screentime in DH! (Book Seven Spoilers) cleolinda makes icons based on proposed Severus Snape titles for the HP series (more Book Seven spoilers)--there's an animated version combining all seven books in the comments.

For those of you who listen to Pandora radio, here's an incomplete list of attributes in the Music Genome Project. You have to love some of these; I can't help but wonder if some of them are made up.

Ambiguous lyrics? Angry-Romantic lyrics? Cash obsessed lyrics? Clean lyrics? Cocky lyrics? Good dose of acoustic guitar pickin'? Great lyrics? Heavy use of slang? Mystical qualities? Unintelligible vocal delivery? Haven't encountered any of those, even with twelve stations with four or five artists on each. (Yeah, I know I can have up to 100 stations. I just didn't discover QuickMix until about ten stations in and said, "Screw it.")

Can a nerd be a good hero in a romance novel? The article made me think about a lot more than romance novels. Since this appears to be what most romance novels consist of (and what sells), does this show what the typical woman seeks in a man--the alpha male, the superhero, the one who can take charge whatever the cost? Let's face it, it's probably true.

But if the time ever comes, I'll take my nerd male, thanks.

I've gotten cocky lyrics from Pandora before. Though, a lot of those do sound fake.

Hee! A few friends and I rewrote the Bible in rapper/internet speak a few years back. We skipped to the New Testament, though--we're all about John teh Baptizzle.

Now I'm curious. What artist gave you cocky lyrics?

Wouldn't swear to it, but I think it was the Rolling Stones. I just remember getting that attribute and thinking it was weird.
