Del.icio.us

I finally caved and signed up for a del.icio.us account. Which is handy since I use two different computers regularly and most of my bookmarks are on one of them because I'm too lazy to transfer bookmarks between the two. Ah well. But this is a really easy solution to that. The tagging, however, will probably become obsessive. It'll be worse when I actually bother to hook up Compy. For some reason I haven't bothered. Then again, that would involve cleaning out my desk. I could always just look through my links tag. I probably added a good bit of that to my bookmarks, and what I didn't, I probably want to find again anyway.

Eh. I'll mess with it later. Adding stuff, though, looks to be addictive.

It really is. I have to go through all of mine and retag, though. At the outset, make sure you've only got one tag for each category (choose between "cat macros" or "lolcats" and remember your choice.)

I disagree - tag everything with whatever seems appropriate. Using not quite the right tag makes it harder to find stuff later, and there's a bulk tag rename feature if you get it wrong at first ("rename tags" in the settings menu).
