Note that it's after 8:45am now, and yet we're still being told that the emergency hasn't passed yet. I want breakfast, damnit! Okay, I want a shower first, but surely I can get something to eat first. Surely?

Actually, I hear tornado chasing is an exciting hobby. Now someone announce that the emergency has passed so I can do all of the above minus the tornado chasing.

Fun fact: I tried posting this via LJ Talk and got this.

(9:14:14 AM) LJ Bot (Frank): Error talking to goat. He must've fallen asleep. Say it again?

:D

I heard an NPR piece once about a guy who took a plane into a tornado FOR SCIENCE! and even though the whole thing was made out to be this horrific risky bad idea in general with doom and death and severe motion-sickness around every corner even if you knew what you were doing, I couldn't help but think it sounded AWESOME. And I'm the girl who's afraid of drops.
