I was reading about coffeehouses and the social aspects of coffee on Wikipedia when I noticed that yes, Compy was indeed leet. It excited me muchly. Yes, I was supposed to be working on stuff, but, well, I wasn't, and I'm not now because I don't feel like it. Sure, I have eight problems due for probability on Tuesday and five for number theory on Wednesday, but I just don't feel like it. Oh well. It'll get done.
While I was wikihopping, though, I found this link, listing all the indie coffee shops in New York City. This is going to be awesome for my NaNo 2006 novel, especially so I can choose exactly which coffee shop I want to feature. Sweet. I need the indie ones because I don't see my characters in a Starbucks, even though I think I mention a Starbucks once.
Also, last night at dinner we decided that the US government and the Southern Baptist Convention were spying on me, and that's how I'm going to go. Funny, I thought I was going to go by jaywalking, considering I do that all the time.
So how many European countries can you name in five minutes? I named 28 when I did this yesterday. I forgot the Netherlands, Romania, and many of the former Soviet Union countries (except Russia). New goal: learn all of them. That would be pretty sweet.
This weekend is Achievement Weekend II. I've done my dorm running deeds, and I have a tour in roughly 45 minutes. It shall be interesting. In the meantime, I have some Thin Mints waiting to be eaten. Mmm, Thin Mints.
