EDIT: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows covers released! (many exclamations marks go here)

I want the book NOW. Not tomorrow, not 21 July, NOW. On the other hand, I like the suspense and the speculation, too, but it's the last one. I don't know if I can handle that.

Dear ITS,

Seven to 8:30 on a Wednesday night is pretty much the worst time ever to cut off our Internet. Seriously. Especially when I have two days of friends list to read, and I've already done all my reading and homework in advance *gasp!* for once.

No love,

Me

Yes, I'm serious. They're messing with the system again, and this time they actually sent out an e-mail saying they were cutting off the Internet during that time. Grrr. I really should call them and say, "Yes, I do have a major concern. This time is a major Internet time for the student community. Just because it's not during the nine-to-five workday doesn't mean it's a dead part of the day. Plus a lot of us have assignments due tomorrow, and blahblahblahblahblah."

Okay, enough on that. I did skip calc this morning and finish that last problem in the problem set. It turned out to be simple. Then I found out that not only was French canceled Friday (yay!), but it was canceled today as well because Mme Knowlton's flight out was changed, so we couldn't review like we were planning to. Whoo!

I should probably meet with Dr. Koch tomorrow (although he's usually not around tomorrow) or Friday and tell him my plans for next year so I can get that registration hold removed. There, e-mailed him.

Now that I'm finished with the big stuff, I can coast through the rest of the week. Yay.

Harry Potter covers...*gasp**fangirl*
The one for the US is cooler than the UK one, although they have an adult version.
I keep on forgetting to give the bookstore $20 to reserve one...I wonder if that's still an option..

There are evil new requirements that are mean to definite and plausible science majors. It is like a brick wall and I just want to take genetics.

I'm pretty much in love with the US one, too. I know MGP reads the book because she draws the chapter illustrations, but I'm not sure if the UK illustrators do because they don't get those illustrations--I think they just get an idea of what should be on the cover. And I reserved my copy on Amazon the day it was available for pre-order (and before Amazon sent me the reminder e-mail--take that, Amazon!).

And what would these evil new requirements be? I know they were changing some things for the sciences, but are they that drastic?
