I missed the MLK Convocation this morning because I started the day with one of my famously long showers. Ah well. At least I was clean when I went to linear algebra. (I abbreviated this as LinAl to Dr. Lewin yesterday when I went to pick up my final, and she called me lazy. I told her that I was just giving it a cute, affectionate name. Nyah.)
Speaking of linear algebra (excuse me, LinAl), my entire math class from last fall is in there. Even scarier, all of us sat together. We're a cult; I'm telling you.
I'm going to love love love LinAl. Yes, I love what I'm going to be learning, but Dr. Koch = Love. You can't not love a guy who lists applications of algebra on the syllabus and then writes, "Hey, those forests don't manage themselves..."
Lunch is also going to be fun. I knew it when I sat down. Many of the people I eat meals with have lunch during the hour I have for lunch. Nice.
Multivariable also has the 204 crowd minus Melissa (she took it last year because she started in Calc II), and we all sat together. The "multivariable and LinAl together" people need a support group. Anyway, I like (okay, love) 3-space, even though I think the professor is a little nervous about teaching the subject for the first time. Maybe that'll pass.
[Note that in both classes I sat with my 204 friends and not with my fellow first-years. Weird.]
