calvin and hobbes: beautiful day

Would anyone like a uterus?

If anyone's interested, I'm giving away a uterus. It's a bit stubborn every month or so, but otherwise it's brand new. Should you be interested, I'll throw in two ovaries and two fallopian tubes for free! You can't beat that!

Moving on. We got out of multivariable early today. We finished a double integral in polar coordinates (which I happen to love) at 2:10 when Sonu was brave enough to ask Dr. Tansey if we could go five minutes early. "It's so warm outside," she said. I looked out the window. I knew it was warm outside, but the outdoors looked more tempting than ever as a breeze shook a tree slightly.

He looked outside the window. "Well, okay," he said. "We can do the other examples I planned for next time." And I felt so guilty, but I didn't say anything. It wasn't because I was planning to take advantage of the great outdoors by lounging on the quad (not then, anyway--I had French at 2:30, and we actually talked about stuff I like today). It was because someone asked to end class early and he agreed. I felt bad for him, too, because he agreed. What else could this open the door to?

In other news, Daylight Savings Time is evil. I can't stand losing an hour of sleep. Actually, losing an hour of sleep in the middle of the night isn't the worst part. It's the next night when I look at the clock and convince myself that it's really eleven instead of midnight when I can't fall asleep, but I still have to wake up according to the clock's time instead of my mental time. Aargh. I should probably go to bed early tonight since I have to get up early tomorrow for fencing.

Edit: Do you have old journals from your teen days? Would you love post some of these old entries and laugh at how angsty/stupid/immature you were then? Then join history_of_me! You know you want to.
