I have written 5602 words so far in January, meaning I am far behind the 20,000 words for nano_year's January goal.

My goal is to hit 10,000 words before 11:59:59pm EST tonight. Yes, you read that correctly. If I don't reach that goal, feel free to point and laugh. Word wars? Bring it.

Update: 8949 words. I need some food. You probably won't be laughing at me by the end of the day because I am definitely on a roll....for now.

So I'm caught up (and actually a few hundred words ahead). I'd say a proper update will follow, but... eh. I'm lazy.
