Live a life less ordinary

I don't feel like taking a picture and resizing, but I finished At Least I'm Flying Free. Finally, considering I started it in March and it's a small journal. The new one is called Living a Life Less Ordinary. Nothing deep there; I've just had the song stuck in my head for the past few days.

The last page is interesting, though.
I learned something this summer.

I can live a life less ordinary.

I can take my own road, wander with no real destination in mind, let the journey be the real source of enjoyment, find what I love, and--most of all--let my path define me, even if it is the road less traveled.

All of this requires listening to the inner voice, that thing most of us call gut. Even more, it requires trusting and acting on said gut.

Because the world really does take you for your own self-worth, and believing in yourself is half the battle.

Dear Heart, I'm listening. I have no idea where I'm going, but if I can use past behavior as an indicator, it's going to be an adventure.
It just occurred to me that the last paragraph sounds like a prayer. Yeah.

Here, have a ton of links.

This guy started with one red paper clip and kept trading for stuff until he traded for a house. The world's largest red paperclip was unvelied today in his town, too.

LOLgod. Yes, Bible macros. This settles it. If I ever set foot in a church again, I will never be able to keep a straight face when looking at all those portrayals of characters.

How to Stop a Wedding. Oh, Random Article, how I love you. I can't really think of a reason why I'd want to stop a wedding right now, but I may want to write it. It's always good to have around, anyway.

Tomorrow's the last day. WOW. Just lunch with everyone, and packing, and probably walking around campus, and maybe doing something with everyone, and... that's it. I'm leaving late Saturday morning, so I'll be back Saturday afternoon.
