Wotcher, Internet.

I got a haircut today. Pictures will be up eventually.

While I was waiting on the haircut, I walked around the plaza and stopped by an outlet store. While looking around the clothes and seeing all those designs on shirts, I thought of all those shirts with cute little hearts and the shirts with <3 on them and the </3>Then I thought. What about an epsilon greater than shirt? Come on, you know I had to think of it eventually. As far as I know, no one has made one, so why not make one myself? So that's exactly what I did. Except I haven't made it yet, and the shirt's pink instead of purple (yeah, I'm a dork).

Over the past few days I've been thinking about that big question--what do I want to do with my life? For the past year or so, I thought the answer was definitely academia. But lately, I thought about my enthusiasm, my passion, for math, and how one of the things that makes me happiest is talking about what I love.

Numbers. Words.

Spreading the love.

That's it. Spreading the love.

Whatever I do, I want to spread the love. I want to spread the love of math wherever I may, show people that math isn't the evil that they think it is. And in a world where science and technology are taking off, this is more important than ever.

So...does "math advocate" count as an occupation?

Weird stuff has been popping up in my dreams again. Imaginary people, people I know, all entangling themselves for a WTF-worthy dream sequence. For once I hope it doesn't repeat tonight.
