If you don't want to click,
Your Existing Situation
Seeks to share a bond of understanding intimacy in an esthetic atmosphere of peace and tenderness.
Your Stress Sources
The situation is regarded as threatening or dangerous. Outraged by the thought that she will be unable to achieve her goals and distressed at the feeling of helplessness to remedy this. Over-extended and feels beset, possibly to the point of nervous prostration.
Your Restrained Characteristics
Willing to participate and to allow herself to become involved, but tries to fend off conflict and disturbance in order to reduce tension.
Insists that her goals are realistic and sticks obstinately to them, even though circumstances are forcing her to compromise. Very exacting in the standards she applies to her choice of a partner.
Your Desired Objective
Feels too much is being asked of her and is tired out, but still wants to overcome her difficulties and establish herself despite the effect such an effort would house on her. Proud, but redesigned in her attitude. Needs recognition, security, and fewer problems.
Your Actual Problem
Depleted vitality has created an intolerance for any further stimulation, or demands on her resources. This sense of powerlessness, combined with frustration that she cannot control events, subjects her to agitation, irritation, and acute distress. She tries to escape these by stubborn insistence on her own point of view, but the general condition of helplessness renders this often unsuccessful. Is therefore very sensitive to criticism and quick to take offense.
The stress source is just messed up. Well, the "threatening or dangerous" part is.
Anyway, today the house felt like -23 degrees [F or C, it doesn't matter; either is cold], so I took a few towels, Kaplan's The Nothing That Is, and Dr. Nbook outside, and did some writing. I didn't do much reading because Mum and Dad came in with food. Today was nice, though. I should definitely do that more often.
