Training went well. I think I'm going to like it, but the threat to rain that isn't happening is driving me nuts in my planning.

I finished Script Frenzy on Friday. Yes, on the 30th like I did every other year I did Screnzy, but I stayed on track this year. After all my Screnzy come-from-behind victories in past years, this is definitely a first.

If ever I have a magnum opus, I have a feeling it'll be about my messed-up family. They've given me so much idea fodder in the past year alone, and I'm jotting all of it down as it happens.

Happy belated First of May! I hope you celebrated appropriately. I didn't, thanks to the threat of rain. Blah.

Are you about to get this massive clusterfuck of a storm that's been spawning tornadoes and flooding? Dude, I really hope it's calmed down for you.

*cough* Sorry, it's just that this storm has me a little heated. Anyhoo, congrats on finishing Script Frenzy! That's some stamina, to do SF coming off of Nanoedmo.

We got some rain last night, but no floods here. That was up in Tennessee. I think the weather has calmed down here for now.

As far as the writing goes, it was a bit exhausting by the end. I'm ready for a good break.

Yay Tennessee....

Did you get any of the treacherous rains?

Yes, but not nearly as much as Nashville did. Fortunately, Cookeville has not floated away.

The weather today is exactly the opposite of this weekend's. Very sunny and cheerful. Perhaps, the sky above Tennessee is bipolar.

If Mother Nature played D&D, she'd definitely be a chaotic one. But chaotic good, chaotic neutral, or chaotic evil? That's the real question.

I'm glad, that storm was ridiculous.

I can imagine. You totally deserve that break. I'm still plodding thru my edits (I keep taking month-long breaks because I simultaneously have no interest in finishing my Nano, yet keep wanting to start a new novel-length project) but I'm down to just 2 chapters now, and fortunately, they won't have to be very long.
