There was snow in Georgia this week, as I'm sure everyone heard. I made snow cream and lots of it. I can still see a good bit of it outside my window, though the melting will happen even more quickly this week.

I've been emo-ing over the possibility of my being a bad writer and as a result haven't touched my book since Thursday. It needs more conflict, and I'm trying to think of what the conflict could be. On a related note, I started reading my first NaNo novel. It is hilariously bad.

I also got talked into going camping tomorrow night by one of the Atlanta Wrimos. Yes, in a tent and everything. It will be freezing. It'll also be fun...right?

Don't freeze your bum off! You need that to sit on while you write!

Goodness, these snow stories filtering our way from back East are NUTS.

Conflict? I'd let it ferment for a bit. There's got to be one lurking in there, waiting to come out. Just needs time to pluck up some confidence in the whole chopping up heads department.

Camping in freezing temperatures is not fun. Take it from a Minnesotan who stupidly went camping in the middle of March and ended up sick afterward. Not. Fun.

Haha, I went camping in the Rocky Mountains once while there was still snow - be sure to bring plenty of socks! Layers are your friend.

And I've been in the bad writer zone-of-thought myself lately. Boo. I just try to write anyway, and keep lots of chocolate handy.
