Sujin the Comma-Burner

It turns out that Mum left the recipe there for me to look at. Yes, I will be trying my hand at real cooking sometime in the near future. That chance just wasn't tonight. Whew.

I also replaced the number stickers on the mailbox. The old ones were peeling off.

A conversation with Caitlin this afternoon spawned this filk, so I guess she's the one who will appreciate its true value. Well, I suppose anyone who has let me proofread a paper will appreciate it too. *looks at Ryan and the burned commas* With that, let's begin!

Sujin the Comma-Burner
(to the tune of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer")

You know Noun and Conjunction, Adjective, and Adverb,
Verb, Interjection, Pronoun, Preposition.
But do you recall
The one who has fun with them all?
Sujin the Comma-Burner
Had a very savage pen
And when the others saw it
They would scream and scare off men
Most of the grammar lovers
Used to laugh and call her names
They never let poor Sujin
Join in any grammar games
Then one day all full of l33t,
Victims came to say:
"Sujin, with your pen so bright,
Won't you put this grammar right?"
Then grammar lovers loved her
As they shouted out with glee
"Sujin the Comma-Burner,
You'll go down in history!"
